What is durum wheat?

What does bronze-extruded pasta mean?

Bronze-extruded pasta is shaped through bronze dies, which create a rougher surface texture. This helps sauce cling to the pasta.

What does slow-dried pasta mean?

Slow-dried pasta is dried gradually at lower temperatures than many industrial pasta processes. This helps protect the structure, texture and quality of the finished pasta.

Why does Duro Pasta have a rough texture?

The rough texture comes from bronze extrusion. This texture helps sauce hold to the pasta rather than slipping off.

Is Duro Pasta vegan?

What pack sizes are available?

Our retail range is packed in 350g and 400g boxes, depending on the product. Our foodservice range is available in practical 5 x 1kg cartons for restaurants and professional kitchens.

How should I cook Duro Pasta?

Cook Duro Pasta in a large pot of well-salted boiling water. Stir occasionally and taste before draining to find your preferred texture. Use the instructions on the pack as a guide for cooking times. For best results, finish the pasta in the sauce with a little pasta water.
